Henna Haarala, 27, is a Finnish set designer and creative director.
Her practice lays its foundation in the design and execution of concepts – across identities, physical spaces, and objects. Henna’s academic background is in Interior Architecture (major) and Aesthetics and Media (minor). Her passion for curation as an everyday act, combined with a multidisciplinary approach, has shaped her ability to seamlessly take on roles that require concept design, set design, creative direction, strategic design, and photography.
Building bridges between the unexpected is one of Henna’s greatest strengths. She thrives in ambiguity and is characterised by an inability to do things half-heartedly. Henna has keys to an apartment in Helsinki, but her other foot is always on the doorstep. Henna can be commissioned to work both in Helsinki and the rest of the world.
