ABOUT

Henna Haarala is an artist, designer, and art director. She is a soon-to-be Bachelor of Arts, having completed studies in Furniture Design and Spatial Design at the Bachelor’s level in Aalto University School of Arts. Henna is set to graduate in April. She has also completed studies in Aesthetics and Art Philosophy at the University of Helsinki. 

Henna is heart-soaringly in love with creating sculptural objects and visual stories across mediums. She creates without borders and absolutely loves to emphasize that trait. It’s in her core. One of Henna’s core values. 

Henna rarely writes her name in the ‘first name last name’ format. Only on legal papers. Henna is always on her way. To create to write to dream to question. On her way towards everyhting everyone would not really think about that much. Or wouldn’t really find interesting. Henna adores questionable things like that. She loves contrasts. It’s what inspires her the most. 

Henna has keys to an apartment in Helsinki but her other foot is always on the doorstep. Henna can be comissioned to do creative work both in Helsinki and the rest of the world. Henna does not settle down. It does not interest her.
